So as some people know I work in the video game industry, and the biggest event of the year happens this week. E3 Expo. It should be pretty freaking awesome this year, with Xbox 360 being shown in full force, the strong possiblity of Playstation 3 being shown as well. It will be a great show.
So I saw Tegan & Sara last night at Neumo’s. It was a pretty good show, a lot more people then I would have expected. Both Tegan & Sara are Chatty Cathy’s on stage, but I found it to be kinda cool. It made the concert a little more personal then shows where bands hardly even say hello to the audience. They played a good variety from their three albums, mostly doing stuff from the recent So Jealous album. They played a cover of Price’s When You Were Mine, which was pretty cool. I’m always a sucker for covers.
Overall it was a good show. Well worth checking them out if they come to your town. Sadly I was way too far back to get any good shots of the show.
So my call for help from the Worpress community has finally worked and someone has built a awesome plugin to parse from the XML output from Picasa. I’ll be setting up pages for all my photos. I’m so happy!!

Just got back from seeing Eisley tonight at the Crocodile Cafe. They put on an amazing show. Extremely talented girls in this band. I took a lot of photos. Feel free and take a peak at the Eisley Photos.

So the concerts are starting up again after the Winter break and there are some pretty awesome shows coming up over the next couple weeks including Bright Eyes at the Paramount Theatre and the return of the Hot Hot Heat from their very long break. I am looking forward to the Hot Hot Heat show to see what their new matierial will sound like, but also to see how they play without their guitarist who left the band a while back. So I have had HBO for a while, but I recently upgraded to all the pay movie channels. In getting all the pay movie channels you have access to a majority of the movies via Video On Demand, which allows you to start, stop, pause, fast forward, and rewind the movie for free. So surfing through all the movies I have access to now is insane, somewhere around 300 movies at my finger tips anytime I want to see them. I loaded up Leathal Weapon and Leathal Weapon 2 last night, which are always fun to watch. I think with VOD, I’ll do more movie reviews.
So I took a listen to the new Beck album titled Guero and it is a might return to the Odeley sound that I loved so much. Some really great tracks on the album. I’ll post a more legit review when the album is released on March 29th.
So I had to start all over because trying to upgrade WordPress killed the SQL database, but I am up and running again with WordPress 1.3 alpha, which has some pretty sweet features. Added a movies category, because I’ve been watching a lot of movies recently. I hope to get the photos up and running again this week.
So I am learning more and more about WordPress and how I can make it work for me the best possible way. Photos will be back online shortly, and I really hope to get videos up and running very soon. One reason why videos are down is my web host will shut me down if the site goes over 2.5 GB a day, which I am currently doing at times with just photos. So please be patient.
