Dexter creeps me out, but I can’t stop watching
!@(uploads/2006/10/dexter.jpg:C450)So Showtime has a new show called Dexter that follows a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department who happens to also stalk and murder the guilty in his spare time. Dexter hunts down people that slip through the system and has his way with them. Dexter is played by Michael C. Hall, formerly of Six Feet Under, portrays this man who doesn’t understand human contact, but has to play by the rules so he doesn’t get caught. Dexter is directed and produced by Michael Cuesta, who did the movies L.I.E. and Twelve And Holding, which I saw at the Seattle International Film Festival. The show reminds me of a more light hearted Nightstalker (the new one), mostly due to the show having a sense of humor even with such a strange story and characters. The show is well worth checking out, so turn in to Showtime.
