Making changes
So I had to start all over because trying to upgrade WordPress killed the SQL database, but I am up and running again with WordPress 1.3 alpha, which has some pretty sweet features. Added a movies category, because I’ve been watching a lot of movies recently. I hope to get the photos up and running again this week.
Site improvements slow, but coming
So I am learning more and more about WordPress and how I can make it work for me the best possible way. Photos will be back online shortly, and I really hope to get videos up and running very soon. One reason why videos are down is my web host will shut me down if the site goes over 2.5 GB a day, which I am currently doing at times with just photos. So please be patient.
Arcade Fire Concert
So I saw the Arcade Fire tonight which was awesome. I mean they put on an amazing show. Full of energy, loud, just a plain old fun show. Arcade Fire had seven members, who all changed insturments pretty much for every song, accept for the violinist. The openned the show with a powerful version of Wake Up, which the entire band screaming at the top of their lungs to the intro. Very awesome.
Side bar for photos
So I added a side bar that links you to all the photos I have taken. It works, but it is only a temporary solution. Just gives you all access to the concert photos. Enjoy!

So I haven’t been able to work on working on a good gallery mostly because I’m lazy, but I thought I’d share the latest photos I have taken from the And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead show I went to last week. Trail of Dead this week
I’m so excited about the And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead at Neumo’s this week. Should be an awesome show! Since it is the first show I have gone to in a while, I decided to buy a new camera for the occasion, and I picked up a Sony DSC-W1, which is a 5.1 megapixel camera. It is pretty awesome!! In other news I have been working a lot. I mean A LOT!!! So I have been unable to check out many shows recently. I feel really bad about not updating the site and getting all the videos and photos up and running. The transition to a blog system has been more difficult then I first expected. But I hope to get them up soon.

Photos should be back online in a couple hours. Going to really hack it, but getting the back online is exciting. I hope to add to it soon, since I haven’t gone to any good show recently accept for Bumbershoot and Prince, which rocked!
Exciting week!
So I finally have some time to get out of the house and actually do something in the city, so I’m off to some shows, but I could run into problems. I’m going to try to go see Snow Patrol and Eisley on Wednesday at The Showbox, but the problem is that the show is sold out. Doh. Hopefully I can pick up a ticket. And for my second attempt is to go see Tegan & Sara at Sonic Boom on Friday. I’m excited about that, because they are cute! I just bought Tegan & Sara’s new CD So Jealous, which is pretty good so far, I’ve give a full review later.
Galleries in the works
With the transition to WordPress, I have been exploring many gallery options and having a difficult time finding one that is easy to customize, but also is pretty speedy. I might be adding links to each temporary gallery in the near future, just so people can enjoy some good concert photos, but I’ll keep looking for a long term solution.
If you know of any good gallery programs that can support 100 plus photos per gallery with pretty easy customization, please send me a mail.
